Garlic Parmesan Fries: Crispy, Cheesy, and Irresistibly Delicious

Yields: 4 servings Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes, cut into ½-inch thick fries

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment:

  • Large bowl

  • Baking sheet

  • Parchment paper

Instructions:

Prepare the fries:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake and serve:

  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  2. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For extra crispy fries, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.

  • If you don't have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley instead.

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the fries before baking.

  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, ranch dressing, or aioli.
