2 pounds russet potatoes, cut into ½-inch thick fries
¼ cup olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Equipment:
Large bowl
Baking sheet
Parchment paper
Instructions:
Prepare the fries:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake and serve:
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately.
Tips:
For extra crispy fries, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.
If you don't have fresh parsley, you can use dried parsley instead.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the fries before baking.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, ranch dressing, or aioli.
