Easy Air Fryer Apple Cake Recipe (Quick & Delicious!)
This recipe provides a simple and delicious way to bake an air fryer apple cake. This cake is perfect for a quick dessert or snack and is a great way to use up fresh apples.
Ingredients:
2 medium eggs
100g granulated sugar (+ extra for sprinkling)
100g unsalted butter, melted (+ extra for greasing the pan)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
100g all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla powder
1 pinch of salt
2 red apples
Instructions:
Prepare the pan: Preheat your air fryer to 140°C (280°F).4 Grease a 20cm round baking pan with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper. Dust with flour and set aside.
Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together using a whisk until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Gradually add the melted butter while continuing to whisk until fully incorporated.
Prepare the apples: Peel the apples, remove the core with an apple corer, and cut them into thin slices. Toss the apple slices with cinnamon in a separate bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla powder, and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined. Gently fold in half of the apple slices.
Assemble the cake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Arrange the remaining apple slices on top and sprinkle with sugar.
Air fry the cake: Place the pan in the air fryer basket and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Cool and serve: Remove the cake from the air fryer and let it cool for 30 minutes before serving. Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon if desired.
