Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2-inch thickness
1 large egg, beaten1
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)2
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce:
1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
For the Topping:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken:
In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
Air Fry the Chicken:
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
Place the breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Air fry for 8-10 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Assemble and Finish:
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and top each breast with a generous spoonful of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
