  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    • Dip each chicken breast in the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.

  2. Air Fry the Chicken:

    • Place the breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

    • Air fry for 8-10 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. Assemble and Finish:

    • Remove the chicken from the air fryer and top each breast with a generous spoonful of marinara sauce and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

  4. Serve:

    • Serve immediately with your favorite pasta, vegetables, or a side salad.

Tips for the Perfect Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan:

  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket: Cook the chicken in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking.

  • Use a good quality marinara sauce: A flavorful marinara sauce will elevate the dish.

  • For extra crispy chicken: Dredge the chicken in flour before dipping it in the egg and breadcrumb mixture.

  • Experiment with different cheeses: Try using provolone, fontina, or a blend of cheeses.
